This page will help you understand all the adjustable parameter settings that are provided with the cTrader PRC Signals Indicator.
PRC Settings
This section defines the attributes for the indicator that will run in memory, so it will be the cTrader PRC Indicators settings.
- Degree - Degree of the polynomial (1 - 6)
- Period - the number of bars (candles) back to analyse
- Inner band deviation - deviation between the middle line and inner band
- Outer band deviation - deviation between the middle line and outer band
- Show horizontal lines - show or hide the lines and arrows that show the prices for signal alerts
- Calculate OnBar - Yes = wait until the candle (bar) closes before checking the signal, No = send a signal on next price change
Pop-up Notifications
This section decides if a pop-up message appears on the screen.
- Display pop-up - Yes = show the message on your desktop, No = turn it off
- Pop-up delay - this is the number of seconds that the message stays on the screen, you can close it manually anytime
Email Notifications
This is your email settings where the message is to be sent.
- Send an email - Yes = sends an email, No = turn it off
- Email address - This is the email address that you would like the alert to be sent
Telegram Notifications
This is your telegram message bot settings so that you can send and receive an alert.
- Send a telegram - Yes = sends a telegram message, No = turn it off
- Bot token - this is the bot token for your telegram bot
- Chat ID - this is your chat ID for your telegram account
SMS Text Notifications
This is your SMS text message settings so that you can send and receive an alert.
- Send an SMS - Yes = sends an instant SMS message, No = turn it off
- Description - This value can be found at MessageBird when you set up your account
- Access key - this value can be found at MessageBird when you set up your account
- Mobile no - this is the mobile number you want an SMS text message sent to, prefix your country code at the start like 4407267824734
