Mirroring Trades

One of the main features of cMAM is its mirroring feature, with cMAM mirroring you can copy one trading account operation to multiple trading accounts.

Profiling

cMAM uses the term mirroring profile, each mirroring profile is a master->slave(s) mirroring setup with different settings. Every mirroring profile must have a master and one or more slaves, each profile has its own settings and works independently from other mirroring profiles.

You can have multiple mirroring profiles and you can run one or more of them at the same time. There are different mirroring profile types:

  • cTrader to cTrader: For copying from a cTrader master trading account to one or more cTrader slave trading accounts
  • cTrader to MT4: For copying from a cTrader master trading account to one or more MT4 slave trading accounts
  • MT4 to cTrader: For copying from an MT4 master account to one or more cTrader slave trading accounts

Right now cMAM has five different mirroring profile types.

For mirroring profiles to work you don't have to keep the cTrader desktop application running or even installed on your system, but the MetaTrader terminals must be running.

How to Create a Profile

To create a mirroring profile in cMAM navigate to the mirroring profiles view:

Click on the "Create New Profile" button, select the type from the drop-down box and it will navigate to that mirroring profile type creator view.

All cMAM mirroring profile types creators will look similar with minor differences, if you know how to work with one you will be able to work with others easily.

Disabled Profile

This status tells you something is wrong with the mirroring profile master/slave accounts, if one of your mirroring profiles got this status you have to re-add the master/slave accounts, otherwise you will not be able to modify/start the mirroring profile
