The Forex market is the largest financial market in the world and trading is conducted at one central location but also between players by phone and electronic communication networks (ECNs) as with the cTrader trading platform. The market is open 24 hours a day and 5 days a week in different parts of the world, from 5 p.m. EST on Sunday until 4 p.m. EST on Friday.

The Forex market can be divided into three main regions which are Australasia, Europe, and North America and each of these regions have several financial centres within each of these main areas.

How to Trade Using Market Hours

If you plan to trade Forex or any other assets then you need to trade when the market moves up or when the market moves down, but it will be difficult to make money when the market does not move at all, so when the markets overlap there is usually large amounts of movement, this is where you can make the most profits.
