The Woodies Commodity Channel Index (CCI) indicator is of the technical family and is a variation of the standard CCI indicator that is commonly used by trades, it was first used by Ken Wood who is also famous for his Woodies pivot point system. The CCI indicator is a standard indicator built into cTrader, so you do not need to go looking for it was created in the 1980s by Donald Lambert.
No specific requirements, this indicator should work with all versions of the cTrader Desktop platform.
How to Trade Using This Indicator
As with most technical oscillators, the Woodies CCI is used to help identify oversold and overbought positions for your open positions and when lines and bars are below the zero line you should use other indicators or signals to consider buying long. Consider using the following indicators for a stronger signal to trade, average directional index (ADI) and any type of moving average indicator.

The indicator allows the option to change the slow and fast Woodie CCI periods and the number of candles (bars) to look back.
Remove Author Box
You can easily remove the author box shown on the chart by setting the show author parameter in the indicator settings to No.
How To Install & Remove
First, make sure you have the cTrader trading platform installed and then simply unzip the file and double-click on it to automatically install it onto the platform.
