If you are new to the cTrader trading platform then your first step is to find a suitable broker and open a risk-free demo account, each broker will offer a branded version of cTrader. You will need to sign-up with a broker so that the cTrader platform can use their data and allow you to submit orders to them.
Opening a Demo Broker Account
You do not need to open a live account and submit your personal information if you wish to trade using a demo account, you can just use your email address and your name to sign-up, you will be able o use the demo for as long as you want so that you can learn to trade risk-free. There are many brokers to choose from and you will need to do your own research to find the right one for you, simply run a Google search with the term "Best cTrader Brokers" or you can look at our featured brokers below.
Download cTrader
Once you have opened a demo account with a broker of your choice you will be able to download cTrader from the Brokers website, you can use the desktop, web or mobile version or all 3 if you wish.
Some of the brokers will allow you to download cTrader directly without having to sign-up for a demo account, but once you start the platform you will need to enter your email address and create a password to get started.
Download cTrader Beta
cTrader also offer a Beta version of the platform to download where you will not need to sign-up with a broker, the beta version is not recommended if you are new to cTrader as it is a pre-release to demonstrate new features and may have some teething problems, we recommend only experienced cTrader users to install this to try out the new features before it is finally released to the brokers once it is ready.
Download cTrader on the Mac
If you are using a Macintosh computer and would like to start using cTrader then you may be a little frustrated because cTrader can only be installed on a Windows operating system, but there is a way that you can install Windows on the Mac and then install cTrader, follow the link below for more information.
