Opening a Demo Broker Account
You do not need to fund a live trading account to practise with cTrader. A demo account lets you explore charts, place simulated trades and become familiar with the platform using virtual funds.
Follow the broker's demo registration instructions and check which details are required. Demo account expiry and available markets vary between brokers. Trading with virtual funds helps you learn the platform, but results may differ from live trading.

Download cTrader
To install the Windows version, open the IC Markets cTrader download page and select the download option. Run the installer, then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
When you open cTrader, sign in using your cTrader ID. This is the login used to access your linked cTrader trading accounts. Follow the broker's instructions to create or connect your demo account.
cTrader also has web and mobile versions. Check your broker's platform page for the available options. If you already have a cTrader account with another broker, use that broker's download and sign-in instructions.
