    cTrader Platform Settings

    The cTrader Settings Panel allows the trader to customize their experience using the platform to configure their theme display, email alerts, asset management, notifications and quick trade settings. The following settings are available via the settings window.

     

    Trading Account Properties

    Not all brokers accounts will support the user changing the account properties, but if you can then the following options are available.

    1. Account number
    2. Currency
    3. Leverage
    4. Account type, Netted or Hedging.

     

    Trading Account Email Alerts

    The platform will send email alerts on each of the events below, these can be turned on or off and if you are not receiving any emails then you will need to configure this with the platform.

    1. Take profit
    2. Stop Loss
    3. Pending order being filled
    4. Smart stop out
    5. Margin calls
    6. Deposits & withdrawals
    7. Email statements

     

    General Application Layout

    The user can also configure the general layout of the platform as well as change the language and adjust the font size for traders with poor eyesight.

     

    Trading Assets

    For all the trading assets that the broker offers the user can choose individually which ones they want to trade with either Volume (units) or Lot size.

     

    Market Watch Panel

    This is the trading panel on the left which allows the trader to select the symbol they wish to trade as well as trade directly, this is very useful for adding watchlists and the settings will allow the user to decide what event happens when they interact with it.
