cTrader Hotkeys - Keyboard Shortcuts

If you get into the habit of using hotkeys then you will have an extra edge over the other traders with fast trade execution and management, you will find it initially difficult as you fumble with the shortcut keys, but after a while, you will not be able to live without this method of fast trading.

How to Use the Hotkeys Tool

It is possible to modify all the hotkeys to use any shortcut that suits your trading, the following options are available for trading.

• Submit market orders.
• Close market orders.
• Buy limit orders.
• Cancel limit orders.
• Buy stop orders.
• Cancel stop orders.
• Buy stop-limit orders.
• Cancel stop-limit orders.

The following options are for drawing chart objects.

• Verticle line.
• Horizontal line.
• Trend line.
• Rectangle.
• Triangle.
• Ellipse.
• Equidistant Channel.
• Andrews pitchfork.
• Fibonacci retracement.
• Fibonacci fan.
• Fibonacci expansion.

Shortcut Hotkeys Panel

The different default hotkeys are shown below, when you start the cBot you will be able to modify the settings to choose your own hotkeys, you can also show or hide the information panel once you are familiar with the shortcuts. The information panel is customizable so you can change the background colour as well as the text colour.
