Having the ability to save all your hard work of drawing on the chart is a required feature for any trading platform, unfortunately, cTrader does not have this as default, but this indicator will save all your drawing objects on the chart and automatically load them when you restart the trading platform.

Also with templates, you can save all the indicators that you have placed on the chart.
What Drawing Objects Can Be Saved?
The following drawing objects that you select from the left panel on the chart can be saved, please note that it is only the drawing tools and not indicators or other objects.

How to Save Your Drawing Objects
This process is very simple and all you need to do is press on the keyboard the keys Shift+S, you have the ability to change this hotkey from the indicator settings, this saves a file into your PC that you can load again in the future, the path is set at documents/calgo/charts
It is also possible to automatically save your chart objects by selecting this feature in the indicator settings and every time an object is added or removed from the chart it will save, also, you can adjust it so that it saves on a timed interval like every 5-minutes.
How to Load Your Chart Objects
When you load your chart objects from a file, the file is located on your PC as explained above in how to save your objects at documents/calgo/charts and for each chart and timeframe there will be a separate file, the format is as follows:
- AccountNumber-SymbolName-TimeFrame-ChartType.cchart
or
- 12764749-EURUSD-1H-Candle.cchart
You can manually load a save objects file by using the keyboard keys SHIFT-L
